What CarBridge requires
CarBridge mirrors your entire iPhone screen onto CarPlay, so it isn't limited to YouTube the way CarTube is — you get Netflix, Chrome, and games too. The tradeoff is that it requires a jailbroken iPhone using tools like Cydia and Filza, and it only ever supported iOS 13 through 16.7.7. It doesn't work on iOS 17, 18, or 26.
If you're on iOS 16.7.7 or below
CarBridge is a real option if you're comfortable jailbreaking and want more than YouTube. If you only need YouTube and want to avoid a jailbreak entirely, CarTube covers iOS 8 through 15.7.7 without one.
If you're on iOS 17 or newer
